NEWS OF THE DAY: CIVIL panel discussion: Society in a pandemic, performing arts on the verge of survival  

The Freedom Festival organized by CIVIL, on the occasion of International Human Rights Day, today continued with a panel discussion on the topic “Society in a pandemic, performing arts on the verge of survival”, which was held at Hotel Park Residence starting at 3.00 pm.  

Jasmina Nikuljska from the Ministry of Culture, Oliver Belopeta, Skopje Jazz Festival, Irena Sterijoska, actress, Nikola Naumoski from the City of Skopje and Trajko Simonovski, musician, Association of Musicians “Music now” participated in the panel discussion as speakers.

CIVIL ACTIVITIES 

Naumoski: With “Culture in a time of a coronavirus”, we managed to pay 200 people in the first moments of the corona crisis

Simonovski: Musicians remain without a motive to work, minimum state assistance is not enough

Sterijovska: Independent groups and organizations have showed more fight and resilience from the perspective of the overall crisis

Belopeta: The culture in our country in a time of a pandemic was maximally alive

FLASH NEWS: 

The health system is being prepared for vaccination for Covid-19. This will be one of the biggest logistic operations that we will need to carry out.
