Petrus Theunisz, team leader of Civica Mobilitas, talks about the Citizen’s Charter for CIVIL Media.
“I think that the Citizen’s Charter is a very good initiative, and essentially it expresses everything that we want to achieve when we speak about human rights and fundamental freedoms. I consider it very inspirational, because everything I do in life is connected with human rights and freedoms, regardless of whether we are talking about the right to freedom of association, the right to speak freely, the right to have our own opinion, the right to independent media, free media without government interference …I believe it is very good for such principles to exist, but also, I think that they should be protected”, stated Theunisz at today’s art workshop “Reclaiming Freedom”, which was organized by CIVIL – Center for Freedom, and was held in the City Park in Skopje, as part of the worldwide campaign “SPEAK!”
