After her one-day official visit to Greece on Tuesday, Slovakia’s President Zuzana Čaputová on Wednesday will visit North Macedonia, MIA’s Athens correspondent reports citing Slovak media, informs MIA.
President Čaputová is in Athens at the invitation of Greece’s President Katerina Sakellaropoulou. The two presidents’ bilateral meeting will be followed by talks between the two countries’ official delegations.
According to reports in Slovak media, talks will focus on the energy crisis, diversifying energy sources, and other challenges resulting from Russia’s war in Ukraine.
President Sakelaropoulou will also host an official dinner in honor of President Čaputová, who is also scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis during the day.
Following her Athens visit, Čaputová will arrive in Skopje, where she will meet with high officials on Wednesday.
