A convoy of Russian military vehicles headed for Kyiv is estimated to be 64 kilometers long, the Ukrainian news agency UNIAN reported early Tuesday citing satellite imager, MIA informs.
The convoy of tanks and other military vehicles is even longer than previously thought. It stretches from Hostomel Airport in north-western Kyiv to the village of Prybirsk, which is located between Kyiv and Chernobyl.
Meanwhile, the southern Ukrainian port of Mariupol is again under Ukrainian control, the country’s state information service said Tuesday.
However, due to an air strike, the city in the Donetsk region is almost completely without any electricity supply, the information service said, citing the city’s mayor. There are also internet and cell phone outages.
