The Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia – Dimitar Kovacevski today had an online meeting with the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic и and the Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama, dedicated to the future steps of the jointly acknowledged and successful – Open Balkans initiative.
At the meeting, the three leaders agreed that the next Leadership Summit in the Open Balkan will be held in the first half of June in Ohrid, and at the beginning of September a large tourist fair of wine and food will be jointly organized in Serbia where Macedonian, Albanian and Serbian wine and food manufacturers will have the opportunity to present their products to the guests from the region and Europe.
Significant agreements and memoranda for cooperation in culture, tourism and economy will be signed at the Ohrid summit, as stated by the Minister of Culture Bisera Kostadinovska Stojcevska, the Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi, and the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Ljupco Nikolovski during this meeting.
Furthermore during the online meeting, it was stressed that the Open Balkan initiative remains open to Montenegro, Kosovo, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
