At the CIVIL conference “Perspectives 2021”, Sanja Lukarevska, director of the Public Revenue Office, spoke about the challenges, but also the successes of the PRO.
“We have set a goal and that is to upgrade, improve, from year to year, that we will continue the successful cooperation with the chambers because they are our prominent partners and collaborators, but at times they are the most well-meaning critics who do not alert us about those processes that we need to change them so that the economy can function better. This is about the taxpayers themselves because the PRO is actually the taxpayers. I hope that we managed to change the symbolism for the PRO from repression and enter a phase of prevention, which means that we continue to build partnerships with companies…
A successful Public Revenue Office means a successful budget, means a successful economy and means a successful country. I expect that we will overcome this coronary crisis. I also expect that in the coming period we will achieve results. I expect that in the coming period there will be successful economic policies that will be created by the Government, that there will be more money in the budget for economic development, infrastructure, improvement and health, education in all those segments and spheres of society. “I expect that we will succeed internationally,” said Lukarevska.
