Minister of Education and Science Mila Carovska holds the opinion that online learning should continue in the second semester of the school year.
According to her, this is the safest way, and all teachers and students have already adapted to this learning system.
“The Commission for Infectious Diseases held a meeting a month ago on whether there should be any changes. We believe it’s the safest to continue the second semester in the same way, in order to both maintain continuity and control the level of positive cases,” Carovska said.
She noted that teachers, students and their parents have all adapted to the new learning system which has continued uninterrupted.
Carovska pointed out that if there’s any change in the epidemic situation, the Commission for Infectious Diseases and the Ministry of Health will reconsider this issue together with the Ministry of Education.
