Before the start of today’s parliamentary session at which the constitutional changes are to be discussed, CIVIL Media asked MPs what their expectations are from today and from the session.
Some were willing to give a statement, while some just walked by the journalists without a comment.
“It should pass the way it should. I think that we will all be clear-headed and should finally solve this”, stated Amdi Bajram.
“We will now have coordination. We will finish our work that has to be finished and we are optimists that we will finish it. I am not saying it will be today, there are still procedures and rules of procedures that we need to comply to and work according to”, said Muhamed Zekjiri.
“Mr. Ahmeti has not negotiated with either Mr. Zaev or Mickoski, but has made quite a bit of efforts to arrive to a solution and to adopting the constitutional amendments, and I hope that those efforts will be fruitful”, outlined Artan Grubi.
“I am in a hurry, thank you, we will see”, replied briefly Ferid Muhic to the question whether he will vote for the constitutional changes. Menduh Thaci was also without a reply to the journalist questions.
“Today the only thing we need to conclude is to respect the decision of the citizens. In these kind of situations, neither the Parliament nor the Government are the decision-makers”, stated Ilija Dimovski.
