The decisions of the health authorities of the Republic of Bulgaria for self-isolation of a part of the Government Cabinet of the Prime Minister Kiril Petkov, will not change the previously agreed framework for the visit of the senior Bulgarian government delegation to Skopje, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today.
As stated in the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the date January 18, Tuesday, remains as a set date for the realization of the visit, which is expected to correspond to the election of the new Government in the country.
The decision, as stated in the statement, was made after today’s consultations between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Northern Macedonia and Bulgaria.
The press service of the Bulgarian government informs today that Petkov and his chief of staff Lena Borislavova will be in self-isolation in the coming days due to contact with a coronavirus, so his visit to the country scheduled for January 18 is postponed and replaced by a Bulgarian government delegation. who will arrive in Skopje will be led by Deputy Prime Minister Kalina Konstantinova.
