“I had the opportunity to study in Slovenia and I had the opportunity to learn much more about European values. When at the age of 18 I went to Slovenia, I had difficulties adapting. I followed the changes that were taking place during the Colorful Revolution from there. Regarding the digitalization, we have the opportunity to grow. There is no excuse that something cannot change and to give up. We cannot say “this is going fail”, we have to fight for a healthier environment and better opportunities”, said Biljana Arsovska at CIVIL’s public event on the topic “The youth and European Values”.

“This Risk Assessment Report on Financing Terrorism for Non-Profit Organization in our country gives hope that by implementing the recommendations we will make the system stronger and better prepared to deal with the threat of terrorism and illegal sources for its financing. Hence, we will strengthen the trust of the citizens and our European partners in the capacity and integrity of the competent domestic institutions as key bearers of the concept of good governance. The Macedonian public should be properly informed and educated about the activities of non-profit organizations, which, in turn, should strengthen their own capacity to recognize the risks arising from money laundering and terrorist financing”, stated Pendarovski.
