Lawmakers will be vaccinated as part of the critical infrastructure within the National COVID-19 Immunization Plan in the Skopje-based Boris Trajkovski sports hall on Friday.
The Ministry of Health says the vaccination of MPs and Parliament staff is of crucial importance for the normal functioning of the institution and continued adoption of legislation in the people’s interest. Parliament staff received the shot on April 14.
People aged 73-74 are currently vaccinated in the sports hall, whereas those over 73 are inoculated across the country. The arrival of new batches of vaccines in the course of next week will result in transfer to priority or sub-priority groups and subsequent immunization stage.
In addition, the Ministry urges citizens to apply for vaccination at www.vakcinacija.mk.
