The Ministry of Health said Thursday it has sent a letter to the European Commission over the reservation of the most sophisticated monoclonal antibody treatment of COVID-19 patients, including a cocktail of ‘casirivimab” and “imdevimab”.
“The most expensive COVID therapy, the so-called monoclonal antibody treatment, which is specific for this virus, is set to arrive in the country at the same time with the EU,” said Health Minister Venko Filipche.
He added that the drugs would be procured by using a World Bank loan.
