Infrastructure projects financially supported by the World Bank were in the focus of discussions of Minister of Transport and Communications Blagoj Bochvarski and World Bank Country Director Massimiliano Paolucci on Thursday, news agency MIA informs.
Minister Bochvarski referred to the projects of strengthening transport trade and construction and rehabilitation of local roads and streets as key in the development of municipalities and improvement of local economy.
“We have good progress in the road rehabilitation project. We also discussed other capital projects and expect the bank to continue to be a strong supporter of the country’s efforts to construct and modernize its infrastructure,” said Bochvarski after the meeting. Interlocutors also discussed the project on reconstruction of border crossings Deve Bair and Kjafasan.
