CIVIL – Center for Freedom strongly condemns the senseless terrorist attack in Ankara and extends messages of sincere condolences to the families of those who died and to the entire Turkish nation.
This brutal act of extreme violence and terror shows again that the target of terrorists are the helpless, unarmed and innocent civilians. Terrorist organizations with their senseless and cowardly acts only prove that their motives are not based on ideas and political goals, but rather on pure destruction and evil. The attacks in France and now in Turkey show that the world is facing a global threat, which knows no boundaries and has no defined purpose.
Institutions, societies and states need to respond to the threats of terrorism with an even more determined action for democratization and respect for human rights and freedoms, and to send a clear and unambiguous message that – there is no place in human civilization for terrorism!
