Menduh Thaci and Arben Xhaferi wiretapped under the pseudonyms “lover” and “grandpa”
Former UBK employee Marjan Jankulovski at today’s hearing for the “Target-Fortress” case, on the illegal communication surveillance, said that Menduh Thaci and Arben Xhaferi had been wiretapped without a warrant and under pseudonyms. “There were strange pseudonyms that only we the operatives knew, it was known that Thaci was “lover” and Arben Xhaferi was “grandpa. I found it suspicious that there was no warrant, and they were connected to the wiretapping system the entire time. I spoke with Zvonko Kostovski that something was not right, and he said that he did not know about that. In UBK, both communication systems worked in parallel, Nice and Verin. We practiced on one of the two, while the wiretapping was on the second one”, said Jankulovski.

OPINION
When Micko met Bojko…
“Objectively, it seems that Mr. Mickoski has nothing to be mad about: the entire episode from the meeting with Bulgarian Prime Minister Borisov is a “tough” lesson on what it’s like to be playing – all right, I apologize, to be leading – “high politics”, and want to be sitting on two-three chairs at the same time. Mr. Borisov first cleared Mr. Mickoski’s table for the meeting to begin, made his Macedonian colleagues comfortable and then asked the leader of the Macedonian opposition several logical questions. These are the same questions to which we have been trying for two years in Macedonia to come up with a clear answer, and constantly get explanations in the form of elliptical empty phrases, with ambiguous “mathematically precise” formulations, but actually meaningless political demagogy, mixed with alleged insight. “We support everything that is positive for both sides – says Mickoski to Borisov. You should have no dilemma!”…We have no dilemma. We have a trilemma”, writes Ordanoski.
Hristijan Mickoski’s fake news
“Fake news, spins – had been the replies of VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski following his test fiasco in front of the Bulgarian Prime Minister. But there, quite clearly, with a picture and tone, without cutting, pasting, editing, confused as a high school student, in regards to Borisov’s test questions, Mickoski failed the home exam and forcefully passed the European exam”, writes Zoran Ivanov.
