Thimonier: France will ratify NATO Accession Protocol by the end of the year
The process of ratification of the NATO Accession Protocol for North Macedonia is in progress and should be ratified without any problems in France by the end of the year, said today French Ambassador to our country Christian Thimonier.
Thimonier made this statement following the commemoration at the French military cemetery in Skopje on the occasion of World War I Armistice Day and National day of mourning.
Zaev: I feared my life was going to end on April 27
Prime Minister Zoran Zaev today in the Criminal Court confronted Ilija Petrusevski, who is charged of violence in the Parliament on April 27, 2017. In the courtroom, Zaev said that during the violence in the Parliament, he feared he was going to lose his life. However, after Petrusevski’s apology, Zaev said that he will not request damages, but requested for the court to take into consideration the social aspect, as well as all other circumstances and to make a fair decision in regards to what happened.
Pendarovski in France, tomorrow to meet with Macron
President Stevo Pendarovski from today until November 13 will be paying a visit to France, where he will be participating at the Paris Peace Conference, and tomorrow, as it has been confirmed, will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron. Pendarovski will have the opportunity to hear directly from the French President the views of France on enlargement and on the new methodology for negotiation.
VMRO-DPMNE rejected debate on redundant workers, tensions also delaying increase in minimum wage
Tensions in the Committee on Labour and Social Policy delayed the debate on an increase in the minimum wage. The reason for this situation was the proposal of MP Samka Ibrahimovski and the rejection of VMRO-DPMNE MPs to add the item for compensation of redundant workers at a same session where an increase in the minimum wage is on the agenda.

The initiative for regional cooperation that was promoted by the leaders of Macedonia, Serbia and Albania, assessed as “Little Schengen’, does not mean deviation from the European integrations, rather commitments for joint engagement for facilitating all border procedures, with the purpose of facilitating the flow of capital, goods, services and movement of people. The leaders of the Western Balkans estimate that the region should enable this not only for fulfilling the European criteria within the framework of the European integration, but even more so for improving the trade, goods and business-idea exchange, freedom of movement of people and workforce, all in the direction of creating conditions for improving the standard of the citizens who live in this part of Europe.
Parliament to elect new Deputy Health Minister tomorrow
The Government proposes Armend Arslani for new Deputy Health Minister, who is specializing in urology at the UKIM Medical Faculty, having previously worked as general practitioner in the Specialized Nephrology Hospital in Struga.
Arslani is to replace Asim Musa, who resigned following the scandal that he took a bribe from a patient from Albania to enable him a surgical procedure in Struga.

When Vucic, as he announced at the Summit in Ohrid, offers to mediate with Macron in order for us to find out what’s on the French President’s mind regarding the fate of Macedonia’s European perspective, it’s like when the weasel promises you that it will negotiate with the fox for the safety of the eggs in Zaev’s hen house.
