SEKERINSKA: WE ACHIEVED QUICK PROGRESS, NOT IT IS TIME FOR THE EU TO SHOW A QUICK REACTION
Just over two years ago, my country was a source of concern among most allies in NATO and the European Union. We struggled with a difficult political crisis, a fall of democracy, a significant decline in media freedom, and even an aggressive political confrontation. However, a new government was needed, huge political determination, courage and ability for bringing decisions for changing things, and for expecting good news at the London summit, said Minister of Defence Radmila Sekerinska at the panel titled “What’s next? Views on Euro-Atlantic Security 70 Years After the Washington Treaty”, which was held within the framework of the Bled Strategic Forum.
KEZAROVSKI WILL NOT BE TRIED FOR THE “LIQUIDATION” CASE AS THE ACTION IS OBSOLETE
Journalist Tomislav Kezarovski will not be tried for the “Liquidation” case, as the action is obsolete.
In 2013, the accused Valentin Zograf received a punishment of five and a half years prison for unauthorized disclosure of information and data on the witnesses and unlawful mediation, while Tomislav Kezarovski received four and a half years in prison, because according to the verdict in 2008 in two consecutive editions of “Reporter 92” he had revealed the identity of the protected witness in this court case.
“In 2013 they sentenced me to 4,5 years in prison, in 2015 the Court of Appeals said “only” 2 years…And today “Ruskoska’s” prosecutor’s office has sentenced me to – LIFE IMPRISONMENT…”, this is how journalist Kezarovski reacted to today’s decision of the prosecutor’s office.

CIVIL: Society and the state have an obligation to focus the youth on mutual respect, not on hatred and violence!
At the very start of the school year, CIVIL reminds the public that children and young people have the right to develop in a society and state in which mutual respect is fostered, to learn that there is no price tag on life, while parents, institutions, the media, public figures, all together have the obligation, with their own actions, to give them positive examples every day.
“In a society that is divided on all possible grounds, we must show the youth that only together and united we can overcome all life obstacles and achieve the desired goals”, is said in CIVIL’s press release.
