“I had a substantive conversation with Prime Minister of North Macedonia Dimitar Kovachevski at the beginning of North Macedonia’s OSCE Chairpersonship. We discussed the risks of escalation at the front, further defense cooperation and deepening of bilateral relations between our countries,” Zelensky posted on Twitter.
On January 1, 2023, North Macedonia took over the chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia Bujar Osmani became the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office.
Ukraine called on the OSCE to demonstrate leadership and support President Volodymyr Zelensky’s initiative to convene the Global Peace Summit.
