President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg met with officers currently undergoing professional military training in accordance with NATO standards. Zelensky shared this update in a Facebook post, as reported by Ukrinform.
“We discussed a range of topics, from enhancing air defense capabilities to Ukraine’s pathway towards full NATO membership. With the support of our partners, our military is acquiring proficiency in operating modern Western weaponry and exchanging valuable experiences in safeguarding lives in contemporary warfare,” Zelensky remarked.
According to President Zelensky, the security that Ukraine is striving for will undoubtedly become the collective security of all of Europe once “the actual reality is recognized de jure – when Ukraine joins the Alliance.”
According to the President’s Office, the meeting was held at the National Defense University in Kyiv. During the meeting, the participants discussed the prospects for enhancing Ukraine’s air defense capabilities.
