I believe we will be an excellent example in the region regarding startups, innovations and technology development, said Prime Minister Zoran Zaev on Tuesday.
“We have enormous demand for qualified staff in the private sector. Our ultimate goal is to open jobs for all young people starting from 2022,” PM Zaev told a press conference.
As of next year, the state will pay salary contributions and provide more incentives to young people starting in a job.
“Those without experience will be supported through internship in the companies they are hired. The objective is for the youth unemployment rate, which has already dropped from 42 to 29 percent, to plummet further and stand at less than 17 percent by 2024. We are working in several directions, one being startup development and internship the other,” said Zaev.
