The Government is always prepared to reallocate budget funds for the purpose of helping people’s livelihoods, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev told a Q&A session in Parliament on Thursday.
“We are prepared. EUR 1,3 billion have already been allocated for the citizens. The Budget revision includes fresh support schemes,” said PM Zaev.
According to him, the COVID-19 crisis is affecting daily lives, saying the low number of new cases could reflect on the economy regarding the opening of businesses.
The PM, who was quizzed on the situation in the vine growing sector, said the pandemic has cut distribution of wine grapes and wine, but the state has subsidized farmers for the purpose of buying all grape quantities.
