Failure to adopt North Macedonia’s negotiating framework at Tuesday’s EU ministerial meeting in Brussels defeated EU’s idea. However, German Minister of State for Europe, Michael Roth, has reiterated that there’s still room for solution by year-end, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev posted Wednesday on Facebook.
“We should carry on in the spirit of dialogue, not conflict, until we reach a solution,” read Zaev’s post.
In these circumstances, he underlined, it’s “very easy to display aggression, but we intend to be rational and move forward, in line with our people’s expectations, towards EU.”
