On this day, February 4, as we observe the birth anniversary of Goce Delchev, who was visionary and initiator of the Macedonian national revolutionary movement, we also remember and pay tribute to his historical contribution in the establishment of the Macedonian statehood, PM Zoran Zaev wrote in a Facebook post.
“As initiator and leader of the Macedonian revolutionary organization, Goce Delchev always called for unity and cohesion in the political challenges facing the country from all stakeholders and citizens, regardless of their religious, ethnic or political affiliation. His ideals and efforts are our common obligation to continue building the country as a democratic and economically developed country, which joined world’s most powerful military alliance – NATO and is moving towards EU membership,” Zaev said writing on Facebook.
