Capital investments mean life for the national economy. We are building infrastructure, we are connecting with our neighbors and the region. The Draft Budget for 2022 anticipates capital investments at a historically highest level of 37.8 billion denars and are higher than the budget deficit, writes Prime Minister Zaev on his official Facebook page.
As Zaev informs, 6 billion denars have been allocated just for the road infrastructure for Corridor 8, investment is made in the construction of new highway sections: Tetovo – Gostivar-Bukojcani and Trebenishta – Struga – Kafasan, on Corridor 10-d construction of the section Prilep-Bitola is planned, and the construction of the highways Kicevo-Ohrid, Skopje – Blace continues, the expressways Gradsko-Drenovo, Drenovo-Farish, the 2nd phase of Stip – Radovis, Krupiste – Kocani, as well as Rankovce – Kriva Palanka. Additionally, through the Public Enterprise for State Roads, rehabilitation of highways continues.
“In the part of railroad infrastructure in 2022, we also start with the construction of the railroad to Bulgaria, section Kumanovo – Beljakovce – Kriva Palanka, financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and with a grant from the European Union”, indicates Prime Minister Zaev in the post.
According to Zaev, there is intensive work on providing financial construction also for the third phase of the railroad to Bulgaria, from Kriva Palanka to Deve Bair.
