Ukraine Ambassador Natalia Zadorozhnyuk in topic of the day on Sitel television said that 9 soldiers were killed in January, and 4 in February, and a day ago, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, father of three children, by pro-Russian separatists.
She added that the situation is tense and that there are constant provocations by pro-Russian rebels ordered by the Kremlin.
She outlined that in 2014 they were alone when Russia attacked, and now they have the entire support and solidarity of the Western world and the NATO member states.
“We have full support of the West, but we count on on our army in the event of an invasion by Russia, we do not request soldiers from anyone. According to surveys, every second Ukrainian is ready to defend their country”, she outlined.
