The world is celebrating International Youth Day today. This year, special attention is dedicated to certain cultural and legal issues and challenges that young people are facing across the world.
CIVIL, through its two-decades of work and activism, is continuously advocating for improvement of the social situation of the young people, supports young people in their fight for realizing their rights and interests in all aspects.
In its long years of work, CIVIL as an organization for human rights and freedoms has been constantly working with the youth, representing them and encouraging them to be dignified and progressive.
The youth are the source and force of world progress, while North Macedonia needs the energy and enthusiasm of the youth in absolutely all segments of society and the country’s social political development.
The youth must be enabled, at all costs, to exercise their rights and freedoms, to have quality education, a rich and creative cultural life, health care and opportunities for employment and advancement.
The state and local government institutions and political parties have an obligation to protect the youth from political abuse, black propaganda and discrimination.
CIVIL congratulates Youth Day, with a message that it is always with and for the youth, in every struggle of theirs!
