A workshop on citizen journalism was held yesterday at CIVIL’s premises.
The young participants had the opportunity to learn about the role of citizen journalism in society, and how through a photo or video recording they can report and inform about the problems they face in their everyday lives.
At the workshop, CIVIL’s team gave them the opportunity to discuss the topics that the “Civic Lenses” project incorporates.
Through practical examples on how to make good use of the technological benefits of modern times, they were presented with the experiences and successes of previous citizen journalists.
Citizen journalists have at their disposal the clp.mk website, intended for their stories, as well as the Facebook Page Citizen Journalists Macedonia.
The workshop is part of the Civic Lenses project and is supported by National Endowment for Democracy.
