CIVIL Media”, in the series of conversations during the festival “Days of Civil Society” organized by Civica Mobilitas, asked representatives of civil society associations: “Why Europe”. We continue the series of conversations with Sashka Kocevska, Doroti Packova, Mehmet Toci and Biljana Atanasovska.
“Let’s accept all positive things that come from Europe and be part of the European family”, says Sashka Kocevska from the association “Vila Zora”, Veles.
“Europe because in these past 30 years we have seen that we cannot function alone, because we need European values, European culture and European respect of human rights”, says Doroti Packova from the association “Edna Moze” (One can).
“Europe is important because we can learn a lot from one another. That means that we too as a country can deliver quality things from which Europe will be able to learn from us. Certainly, we can learn a lot from the EU member states. It can bring exchange of culture, knowledge, and we expect it as benefit for all citizens. The sooner we become part of that family, the better for us”, says Mehmet Toci from the association “Mesecina” (Moon) Tetovo.
“Europe because we will be dealing with highly developed countries. We should be and are part of Europe, it is an aspiration of every country do be part of the European policies”, said Biljana Atanasovska from “Apple Three”.
