The results of the CIVIL election monitoring, in which more than 330 people participated including the organization’s expert and coordination teams, will be presented at the public event “Local elections 2021: Lessons learned”, tomorrow, December 23rd, at the Park Residence Hotel (behind the football stadium), starting at 12 p.m.

The final report, analysis and recommendations arising from the election monitoring of CIVIL will be published in the publication “Local elections 2021: Lessons learned” which, after the public event, will be published online on the CIVIL media platform. 300 copies of the publication will be available in Macedonian, Albanian and English. The entire team of CIVIL and the CivilMedia Editorial Office participated in the preparation of the publication, as well as a wide circle of collaborators of the organization.

In addition, CIVIL shall publish three more publications related to the electoral process, recommendations for reform of the electoral system, political financing, campaigns and media, as well as other important aspects in this area.

The presentation will be broadcast live on the CIVIL Facebook page as well as the YouTube channel.

Representatives of political parties, institutions, civil society organizations, the international community and the media are invited to the public event.

According to the program, the presentation will last about 30 minutes, after which an open microphone will be provided for speeches of up to three minutes, and at 1 pm, the attendees will be invited to a modest cocktail.

The event will last 120 minutes and is organized according to the  KOVID-19 protection protocols, due to which the attendees will have to fill out the Application for participation.

CIVIL monitored the election process as a component of other projects, including: “European Perspectives” with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, “Civic Lenses”, supported by the National Endowment for Democracy and the institutional support of the Civica Mobilitas Program, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).

The organization expresses its gratitude to all the observers and collaborators who gave their selfless support and dedicated work on conducting the election monitoring. Many thanks to the huge number of citizens who expressed their support and trust for CIVIL.
