We’re doing better, all we need is a bit more patience not to mess it up with the end in sight, said this year’s Badnik godfather, doctor Nikola Panovski.
After the consecration of the Badnik bread at the St. Clement of Ohrid church in Skopje, Panovski wished Christmas next year to be celebrated properly.
“We’re doing much better. Every day will be better than the previous day. Just a little bit more patience not to mess it up in the end. This year will be better,” Panovski stated.
Panovski, accompanied by close family members, left the Skopje church in a carriage carrying the Badnik cup.
Doctor Miodrag Vrchakovski, this year’s toast-giver, also attended the Badnik church mass.
Due to the pandemic, scaled-down celebrations took place this year.
