Several villages in the Municipality of Dolneni have flooded as heavy rain and thunderstorms hit the Prilep region, according to the Crisis Management Center, informs MIA.
Floodwater has swept the villages of Lazhani, Debreshte and Zhitoshe. “It is most critical in the village of Lazhani, a large part of which is under water,” the CMC said, adding that the village houses were flooded
. The Dolneni mayor and the local police have been notified of the flooding. No help has been requested from the CMC disaster response team so far.
