Russia has already lost about 22,400 troops in Ukraine. The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Between February 24, 2022 and April 27, 2022, the enemy’s total combat losses included also 939 tanks, 2,342 armored fighting vehicles, 421 artillery systems, 149 multiple launch rocket systems, 71 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 185 aircrafts, 155 helicopters, 1,666 motor vehicles, eight boats/cutters, 76 fuel tanks, 207 unmanned aerial vehicles, 31 special equipment units and four mobile SRBM systems.
Over the past day, Russian troops have suffered the highest losses in the Kurakhove and Izium directions.
The data are yet to be updated. The calculation is complicated due to the high intensity of hostilities, according to the General Staff.
