The Ministry of Health informs, according to data from Institute of Public Health, that in the last 24 hours 7188 tests were performed and registered 1375 new cases of covid-19: Skopje – 852, Bitola – 135, Prilep – 70, Kumanovo and Kavadarci – 38 each, Ohrid and Stip – 25 each, Strumica – 21, Resen – 18, Tetovo and Gevgelija – 14 each, Negotino – 13, Gostivar, Veles and Radovish – 10 each, Valandovo – 9, Probistip, Demir Hisar and Krushevo – 8 each, Kicevo and Bogdanci – 7 each, Delchevo and Kriva Palanka – 6 each, Kocani – 5, Struga, Vinica, Makedonski Brod and Sveti Nikole – 3 each , Debar, Kratovo and Pehchevo – 2 each.
217 recovered patients were registered from: Skopje – 116, Ohrid – 13, Prilep – 12, Bitola – 10, Strumica and Kumanovo – 9 each, Kavadarci – 8, Gevgelija – 4, Veles, Stip, Kicevo, Resen, Kriva Palanka and Berovo – 3 each, Struga, Valandovo , Demir Hisar, Krushevo, Makedonski Brod and Delchevo – 2 each, Tetovo, Kocani, Sveti Nikole, Radovish Probistip and Bogdanci – 1 each.
During the past 24 hours, 2 deaths were registered: one deceased person from Skopje (75 years old) and Kavadarci (61 years old). The reported persons died in hospital.
According to The register of deaths with a diagnosis of covid-19 from “My term”, 2 people are registered, one person from Tetovo (84) and Delchevo (74), who died on 28.12.2021 and 02.01.2022. The defendants died at home.

So far, a total of 1 covid-626 tests have been performed in the country. The total number of covid-diagnosed persons in our country since the beginning of the epidemic is 464 19, the number of cured patients is 228 540, the number of dead is 213, and the number of active cases is 722.
