CIVIL continues with the series of seminars on transparency, anti-corruption and responsible political processes. The seminars are part of the long-standing project “Civic Lens”, in which so far more than 1,200 citizen journalists, activists and many others interested in civic participation and in decision-making at local and national level have participated.
The series of seminars under the common title “Civic Lens: Citizens participate, observe and report” continues in Struga, in the hotel “Belgrade”, in the city center, on October 24 and 25 (Saturday and Sunday) starting at 11 am . The seminar is open to all interested citizens from the municipalities of Ohrid, Struga, Centar Zupa, Vevcani, Debar, Debarca, Resen and Kicevo. The number of participants is limited to 20, and for that purpose, CIVIL provides a large space in accordance with the protection measures against Covid-19 for maximum compliance with the safety protocols from the corona virus.
APPLICATION FOR PARTICIPATION
This seminar is a great opportunity for all citizens who want to cooperate in the projects, initiatives and activities of CIVIL. Among other things, CIVIL at this seminar will summarize the results of previous civic initiatives, including the one for abolishing the privileges of officials, in anticipation of the establishment of the new parliamentary composition.
Due to the new methodology, CIVIL will take into account the applications of those citizens who have previously participated in one of the seminars of CIVIL, but will have prioritize those who apply for the first time at this seminar. Travel expenses are covered by the organization.
