Information about parking lots, trails, pumps, service, taps, and obstacles for bicycles had been gathered in one place and are available with the web application Travelers Cycling about cities in North Macedonia, such as Skopje, Bitola, Ohrid, Kichevo, Berovo, and Prilep.
It’s a project of a group of bicycle enthusiasts and this app is the only of its kind in Macedonia. Its goal is to help bicyclists to reach their destination easier.
“The bicycle network is divided into several categories, among which are bicycle trails, sidewalks and streets that are safe for driving a bike, and represent a connection with two bicycle trails, off-road trails, etc.” state the Travelers Cycling enthusiasts.
The application can locate the nearest parking lot for bicycles, bicycle repair services including the location of air pumps that are usually located at gas stations.
