Ahead of the April 2021 census, President Stevo Pendarovski, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi, and State Statistical Office director Apostol Simovski will address local self-government representatives in Parliament on Friday.

In addition, SSO representatives will inform the country’s mayors and council secretaries of their duties arising from the Census Law, which will be followed by a Q&A session.

According to the law, the 50 regional census committees will be chaired by local council secretaries.
