Monday’s hearing in ‘Titanic’ case trial in the Skopje-based Criminal Court, has been postponed to March 17 as the member of the Criminal Court’s Council, judge Ognen Stavrev is self-isolating after coming into contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
The court hearing should resume with testimony of several witnesses.
Judge Osman Shabani presides over the trial and the prosecution is represented by Lile Stefanova.
Several individuals are indicted in the case, including fugitive former PM Nikola Gruevski and former officials Kiril Bozhinovski, Mile Janakieski, Gordana Jankuloska, Biljana Brishkoska Boshkovski, Ilija Dimovski, Munir Pepikj, Edmond Temelko, Kiril Todorovski, etc.
They are suspected of criminal association, violation of voting rights, violation of the freedom of choice, election bribes, destruction of election materials, and abuse of election campaign funds.
