Former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski was questioned by a pre-trial judge in the Criminal Court in Skopje. The withdrawal of the abolition has added the leader of VMRO-DPMNE on the list of suspects of the Special Prosecutor’s Office. Gruevski is suspected of abusing his official position and power in the “TNT case” regarding the demolition of the “Kosmos” building complex belonging to Fijat Canoski.

Boulevard of the #ColorfulRevolution

8 more days left! We are counting down to freedom! Gruevski in court! #Counting down. These are the messages of the #ColorfulRevolution today, which have turned the boulevard in front of the Assembly of Republic of Macedonia into a Boulevard of the #ColorfulRevolution. Today several thousand protestors counted down to Nikola Gruevski one more day less to the ultimate deadline for fulfilling the already known demands of the Colorful Revolution.

At the requests of the lawyers, the Court decided to lift the house arrest restrictions on protestors Zdravko Saveski and Vladimir Kunoski and gave precautionary measures – their passports will be confiscated and they will have to report on a regular basis to the court. Prosecutor Snezana Bundaleska agreed to this proposal as well, but requested measures for restriction of movement, since protests have been announced, which however were rejected.

The constitutionality of the SPO is not on the agenda of the Constitutional Court Session

According to the already determined Agenda for the Session of the Constitutional Court that is scheduled for June 15, the item for assessing the constitutionality of the Special Prosecutor’s Office is not on the agenda. Therefore, the Constitutional Court did not take into consideration the request of the oppositional SDSM for it to discuss the constitutionality of the Special Prosecutor’s office by June 18.

Criminal Court to decide on the demands of the SPO

The Skopje based Criminal Court today confirmed that the SPO submitted a proposal to them for determining measures to secure also the presence of the Former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski. Gruevski together with former minister Mile Janakieski and the Mayor of Gazi Baba Toni Trajkovski are all suspects in the “TNT case”.
