Europe and Ukraine together! The Second World Charity Telethon “Save Ukraine, Stop War” is scheduled for tonight, Sunday, May 29, at 8 p.m. CET. The event will start simultaneously in the capitals of Germany and Ukraine, Berlin and Kiev.
The purpose of the event is to draw the attention to the world community to the dramatic events taking place in Ukraine, and to raise funds for medical equipment for healthcare institutions that provide medical care to the wounded and injured, including surgical C-arm and X-ray machines.
World and Ukrainian music stars and celebrities will perform during the tele marathon: Eurovision winners, Kalush Orchestra, Monatik, Alyon, Boombax, Max Barskin, The Hardkiss and many others.
The telethon is organized by 1 + 1 Media, in partnership with UA PCB (Ukrainian Public Broadcasting Company) and Atlas Festival, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Culture and information policy of Ukraine.
The idea of the second telethon remains the same, to unite as many countries and broadcasters as possible to provide support and raise money for Ukraine.
