The most important issues of nowadays are topics of today’s conference of CIVIL: green values, social justice and antinationalism

The most important issues of nowadays are topics of today’s conference of CIVIL “The Greens Are Coming 2020”: green values, social justice and antinationalism

The Conference is organized by GREEN CIVIL (organizational unit of CIVIL) in partnership with the Heinrich Bǒll Foundation, today, November 19, at Hotel Park Residence (behind the football stadium) starting at 12.00 noon, and will be broadcast live on the Facebook page of GREEN CIVIL.

Marion Kraske, from the Heinrich Bǒll Foundation, Director of the regional office for BiH, North Macedonia and Albania, will speak at the conference.

The list of speakers also includes: Robert Alagjozovski, National Coordinator on Interculturalism, Ilhan Rahman, Deputy Minister for Political System and Community Relations, Xhelo Hodzikj from the Agency for Communities Rights Realization, Prof. Mirjana Najchevska, as well as representatives of other government departments, the local government, the non-governmental sector, and the business community. Four representatives of CIVIL will also speak at the conference, Petrit Sarachini, Biljana Jordanovska, Dehran Muratov and Xhabir Deralla. 

APPLICATION FOR ONLINE PARTICIPATION

The Conference covers topics in areas regarding green values, social justice, and antinationalism, with a special reflection on the mutual connection and indivisibility of these areas. The conference is the final event of the project “The Greens are coming”,  which is being implemented with long – time partners of CIVIL, the Heinrich Bǒll Foundation.

In accordance to the Covid-19 protection measures, the conference will be held online, with minimum physical presence of CIVIL’s organizational and media team.

116344973_593994904652631_4675268053613934742_nThe online participation is provided through the Zoom application, by previously filling out a participation form with basic information on interested participants. Physical presence is not recommended.

The conference will be broadcast live on the Facebook page of GREEN CIVIL, while the media can download a video, photo and text content according to the Creative Commons License 4.0.

Applications for participation at the conference are accepted until November 19, 11:30 am.
