The Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, the President of SDSM, Dimitar Kovacevski and the President of DUI, Ali Ahmeti, this afternoon in the Government had a working meeting with their teams, within the consultative meetings on government priorities, taking responsibilities and maintaining and upgrading the governmental and parliamentary majority.
At the meeting, as reported by the government press service, it was confirmed that the goal has been met to ensure a stable government and a stable parliamentary majority that act exclusively in the interest of citizens and state interests.
– Zaev, Ahmeti and Kovacevski agree that the new government will be fully focused on the accelerated movement of the country on the Euro-Atlantic path and that the goal is the first great success of the Government to find solutions to challenges in relations with Bulgaria and start membership negotiations in the European Union, a government statement said after the meeting.
The next parliamentary elections, as stated in the statement, are expected to be regular and to be held in 2024, and until then the Government will deliver economic results, fast and quality services to citizens and successfully deal with the pandemic and energy crisis.
