The ruling parties, non-parliamentarian parties and NGO’s have united under the slogan “Together for a European Macedonia” in the call to the citizens for a positive outcome of the referendum and for the Euro-Atlantic processes. Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, who promoted the campaign, announced that in the coalition that will be leading the campaign “Go out to vote FOR a European Macedonia”, around a hundred entities have joined together and that number is expected to grow.
Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev today again invited the opposition VMRO-DPMNE to join and to enable a successful referendum for, as he said, a successful future of the joint state. Unity is needed, stressed Zaev, adding that perhaps the opposition and government are different and do not agree on many issues, but that in historical moments everyone needs to stand together, because the state has no other alternative path.
Government spokesperson Mile Bosnjakovski, today stated that the recommendations of the Venice Commission, in terms of including government representatives in the campaign for the upcoming referendum, are fully respected.
He stated that the daily activities are related to their state strategic interest, and that it has in the past 27 years since Macedonia’s independence.

The Ministry of Education and Science will submit twenty-two corrected textbooks for the school year 2018/2019 throughout the schools. Starting from this school year, all textbooks that the Ministry of Education provides free of charge for the students, will at the same time be sold at the same price the Ministry purchases them.
