The Mayor of the Municipality of Gostivar, Dr. Arben Taravari, for the Initiative “Make a difference, respect diversity”.
-The Municipality of Gostivar is a specific municipality where Turks, Macedonians, Albanians, Roma live, the structure is similar to the one of Republic of North Macedonia. The functioning of multi-ethnicity in Gostivar can serve as an example for all other municipalities. I cannot remember in these three and a half years to have talked in the Cabinet or in our administration about some kind of problem, while at the same time to make a difference of whether it concerns a settlement in which Turks or Macedonians or others live in. This is how it functioned before, I don’t want to say that it is so because of us.
