The Russian troops are trapped in Bakhmut, with Ukraine’s defense forces taking the city “under fire control.” Ukrainian Ground Forces Commander, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi said this in a Telegram post, according to Ukrinform.
“Bakhmut. The enemy is trapped. The city is under fire control of the Defense Forces,” Syrskyi wrote.
He also released a video in which aerial reconnaissance spotted the positions of the Russians with ATGMs. The soldiers with Ukraine’s 77th separate airmobile brigade effectively outworked and destroyed the Russians.
