On the “Macedonia” Square, today, at exactly noon, activists of CIVIL – Center for Freedom carried out a street performance within the framework of the three-day world action “SPEAK”.
Following the street performance on the square, activists headed towards the “Journalists’ Club”, where the panel discussion “Reclaiming Freedom” is being held, at which Jasmina Golubovska, Irena Sterijovska, Dehran Muratov and Jugoslav Petrovski as moderator will be speaking about freedom.
On Saturday and Sunday, September 23 and 24, as part of the project “Reclaiming Freedom!”, an art workshop will be held in the City Park, starting at 4.00 pm. Multimedia artist Miroslav Stojanovik, a member and activist of CIVIL, will provide space for citizens to share messages in a creative way on freedom of expression and human rights. With colors and words, visitors will be able to draw or write their visual or textual messages and speak loudly or in silence about their rights and freedoms.
In the evening hours, these drawings and messages will be relocated to the center of the city, where they will be part of the setting for outdoor fun until 11:00 pm.
