NATO has no plans to deploy troops to Ukraine, alliance chief Jens Stoltenberg has confirmed again at a press conference after an emergency summit, MIA informs.
“There are no combat troops, no NATO troops at all inside Ukraine,” Stoltenberg said, “We don’t have any plans to send NATO troops into Ukraine.”
Stoltenberg said NATO would however continue to increase its presence in the eastern part of the alliance in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
