We are not talking about the EU as an institution, but about European values, and only after European values are adopted can we talk about EU integration.
Through all our projects we promote European values. What do we do for young people? I am convinced that we should first start loving each other here, to show the EU that we are ready to receive us in their kitchen. Young people are the drivers of change.
A large percentage of young people want to live outside our country, and when asked if they have ever lived in a European country, they answered – no.
Young people have the perception that everything in Europe is ideal and that they want to live there.
Not that we do not have potential, but we consciously push them to a European country instead of keeping them here. We need to improve and convince them to be productive and to have tolerance, mutual respect, said Biljana Stojcheska from the Youth Union of Krushevo, at the CIVIL public event on youth and European values.
