In light of recent developments regarding the 2021 census, the State Statistical Office (SSO) will not kick off any field operations until the necessary procedure is completed in Parliament.

“Since the census operation should last 21 days, until April 21, the State Statistical Office believes there is enough time all census-related operations to be concluded on time. While waiting for an outcome in Parliament, the Office once again will examine all organizational field operations to make sure everything is set for launch of the census operation,” says the State Statistical Office in a statement.

The public, it adds, will be informed on time about all coming activities.
