The average monthly net salary paid per employee in December 2020 was 5.4 percent higher than in December 2019, as a result of rises given to people in IT and communications (15.5%), mining and quarrying (10.5%), and health care providers and social workers (10.0%), according to latest figures released by the State Statistical Office.
Compared to November 2020, state statisticians recorded an increase in the average monthly net paychecks of employees in IT and communications (14.4%), finance and insurance (12.5%), and mining and quarrying (10.6%).
The average monthly net salary paid per employee in December 2020 was Mden 28,294 (USD 558).
