Ten NATO allies, including North Macedonia, are starting a new era in the training of military pilots. We’re creating a network of European training centers for fighter jet, helicopter and drone pilots, Defense Minister Radmila Shekerinska said Thursday.

The Skopje-based center will conduct basic and advanced training of helicopter pilots, the Minister added in a Facebook post.

Shekerinska noted that NATO Defense Ministers from North Macedonia, Belgium, Turkey, Montenegro, Greece, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Romania and Spain have signed a Memorandum of Understanding and agreed to bolster the training of their nation’s military pilots.
